The Hailun Company was originally the Ningbo Piano Parts Factory founded in 1986. With more than 20 years of successful history, the company is located in Beilun District, Ningbo with total investment near 3000,000,000, 50,000 square meters and over 800 workers. Since2001, Hailun has invested heavily in Japanese digital equipment and production lines. Besides the hard ware advance, Hailun also joined with Peter Veletzky, a prominent Viennese craftsman from his family with a century’s  piano making expertise, the well—known American piano designer George F. On February the 7th, CCTV reported that Hailun Pianos had entered into the mainstream piano market with a quality instrument that meets European standards. On August the 16th, the European Chinese Association held a peace celebration: Hailun Company was featured in the Golden Concert Hall in Vienna. This event was significant in that it was the first time a Chinese—made piano had been featured in the Viennese Golden Concert Hall. In February , 2006, Denmark Royal Family selects a piano made by Hailun for use in Royal Palace. Hailun Piano was chosen again and won fame for Chinese pianos.
